GA WeBlogs : Greetings Geo McAuley, you are owner of IGBC Estate, and you have been an active member of the Winter Festival 2010 Committee. Thanks to welcome us and to take time to answer to our questions. First of all, since how long have you been in SL ?
Geo McAuley : First, I would like to say that I am in partnership in IGBC with Brent Zulaman and Jaij Jameson. We joined Jaij in the IGBC franchise upon the retirement of Jeanluc Guyot, who founded IGBC. Jaij has been in SL since 2007 so he is our wise elder statesman, lol. Brent has been here since 2009, finishing out his second year very soon and I course I am the youngest of this group, rezzing in about a year and a half ago.
GAWB : Wow, what an awesome team ! What kind of enjoyment do you find here ? What was your best experience(s) or memories ?
GM : For us, anything can be fun, as long as you share it with your friends. At IGBC, we value the new friends that we make and enjoy celebrating our second life milestones together. We hold parties for IGBC members and any guests that would like to participate. We like to treat people like family. We love the interaction with our friends so much that we have developed a public chat area overlooking a new park to give a comfortable setting to chat and get to know each other. Its that attitude that drew Brent here in the first place and Brent intoduced me to IGBC and I have stayed ever since. That atmoshere started with JeanLuc and Jaij and we hope to help keep that alive. Finding IGBC and the friendships made thus far are my best experiences in sl by far.
